Graveside Services for Rhonda Sullivan, 69, of Corrigan will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stryker Cemetery in Corrigan with Pastor William “Peanut” Glass officiating.
Rhonda was born on May 21, 1952 in Lufkin to James Poland and Jessie (Sims) Self and passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Lufkin.
She was of the Christian faith and was known as “MawMaw” by all the grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of her family, making sure each one had what they needed. Mowing the pasture and bushhogging were her favorite hobbies. In her younger years, she enjoyed deer hunting and riding horses.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Poland and Jessie Self; sisters, Jan Beard and Laura Vann.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Louie Sullivan of Corrigan; sons and daughters-in-law, John Louie and Robin Sullivan of Corrigan; James Wesley and Tina Sullivan of Corrigan; sisters and brother-in-law, Deb Hatcher of Bullard; and Sadie and Rick Weathers of Jasper; grandchildren, Taylor Brasher Reavis and husband Brendan, John L. Sullivan and wife Amelia, Robert W. Sullivan and wife Tiffany, Wyatt Wesley Sullivan, and Trent Greening and wife Aimee; great grandchildren, SaraLynn Renee Sullivan, Adalyne Marie Greening, Raegan Brasher, Grayson Brasher, and Walker Reavis and numerous other relatives and friends.
