Rayford Fuller Obituary

The Lord spoke to Rayford Wayne Fuller on November 4, 2021 and said, “today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43.

Wayne was born March 15, 1934, in (Skinnertown) Corrigan, Texas. He raised his family in Baytown, Texas, where he worked first at Baytown Oldsmobile for 10 years, then in the Parts Department for 35 years at Baytown Motors, making many lifelong friends and a work family he cherished. Wayne retired in Diboll, Texas, where he resided until his departure to Heaven. Wayne loved nothing more than family being gathered any chance he could. Reunions and holidays with good food and stories, especially a visit on his front porch were the highlight of any day for him. One thing was for certain, Wayne was a friend to many and a stranger to none.

His loved ones take peace knowing Wayne is enjoying a Heavenly reunion with his mother and father, Roy and Lila Mae Fuller, late wife Bonnie Dean Fuller, brothers Gerald and Arville Fuller, sister Carolyn Smith, niece Lisa Conway, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Wayne left behind a legacy of 4 generations of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Nan Fisher-Fuller of Diboll; daughter, Brenda Dickens and husband Benny of Diboll; daughter, Susan Payne and husband Rich of Oden, Arkansas; son, Robert Fuller and wife Dena of Dayton; step-son, Chris Fisher and wife Casie of Cedar Creek; brother, Charles Fuller and wife Wanda of Diboll; sisters, Shirley Elkins and Lynn Gore both of Baytown; brothers, Don Fuller and wife Gail of Tarkington Prairie and Jerry Fuller and wife Carolyn of Baytown; granddaughters, Starlette Peck of Diboll and Shyanne Fuller Privett and husband Matt of Tarkington Prairie; grandson, Trevor Fuller and fiancée Kaity Pike of Dayton; great grandsons, Garret Peck of Diboll and Ryder Privett of Tarkington Prairie; great granddaughter, Jaylyn Babin of Dayton; very special friend and “brother” W.K.
