Funeral Services for Leah Ann Hubenak, 58, of Houston, Texas will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 3:00 PM in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Charlie Hodge officiating.  A visitation will be held from 2:00 -3:00 PM in the Chapel prior to the service.

Leah was born on December 9, 1962, in Houston, Texas to Jimmy O’Neal Brock and the late Priscilla Mae (Worley) Brock.  She passed peacefully at Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center on Wednesday March 10, 2021, in Houston after a long battle with breast cancer.

Leah lived in Corrigan, Texas as a young child.  She graduated in 1981 from Lufkin High School where she was a member of the Panther Pride Drill Team.  After high school, she worked her way through college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  Leah worked in the hotel industry in Houston for 22 years, most notably at the Houstonian Hotel, where she met and married Mark Damon Hubenak on May 14, 1994.  They made their home in Houston and had two children, Devin (1996) and Haley (2000), before they divorced in 2006.  Leah remained in Houston and never remarried.  In 2010, she transitioned into the Oil and Gas Industry with a focus on training and safety.

Leah enjoyed watching her kids grow up playing soccer and basketball.  She took pride in their accomplishments.  She also enjoyed home projects, fishing, camping, flowers, gardening, cooking, driving and road trips.  She enjoyed get togethers with family and friends.  Leah had high hopes of retiring back to the country one day.

She is preceded in death by her mother Priscilla Mae (Worley) Vasilakopoulos, stepmother Mary Jo (King) Brock; Uncle Roger Wyatte Worley Sr., sister Shea Marie (Brock) Gordon, and niece Ashley Marie Brock.

Leah is survived by her father Jimmy O’Neal Brock and wife Millie of Corrigan; son Devin Brock Hubenak of Houston; daughter Haley Deann Hubenak of Houston; brother Darren O’Neal Brock of Conway, Arkansas; sister Alyshia Marie Brock of Kosse; sister Jennifer Deann (Durham) Eaton, and husband Blaine of Houston; brother Jimmy O’Neal Brock II of Palestine; brother Frank Vasilakopoulos, and wife Mistica of Sinton; 9 nephews, 4 nieces and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
