Jud Homer David

Jud Homer David, 79, of Barnes passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Corrigan. He was born on October 3, 1941 in Corrigan to the late Jud Harry and Sylvia Anita (Pullen) David.

Jud was born and raised in Corrigan and graduated in 1960 from Corrigan High School. Shortly after graduating high school, he attended SFA and obtained a degree in forestry. He then joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge after 4 years of service. Later, he went to work as a car salesman and retired after 25 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jud Harry and Sylvia David; and brother, Doug David.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Carolyn David of Hudson Oaks, TX; daughter, Caroline; sister-in-law, Cathy David of Barnes; nieces, Nicole Jones and husband David of Dallas; Chris Sorrells and husband Bryan of Longview; and Elizabeth Kelley and husband Chris of Dallas; great nephews, Carter Sorrells of Annapolis, MD; Luke Kelley and Ben Kelley both of Dallas; and Owen Jones of Dallas and numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for ashes will be held at a later date.
