Jessica De Jesus Obituary

Funeral Services for Jessica Harris De Jesus, 33, of Warren will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Corrigan with Pastor Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-2 prior to the service.

Jessica was born in Lufkin on September 10, 1988 to Kent and Gina (Ascol) Harris and went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Beaumont.

Jessica attended Corrigan-Camden ISD and graduated in 2007. During her high school years, she played softball and volleyball. Going on her “Sonic run” was something she did daily. She married her high school sweetheart, Johnny De Jesus on February 25, 2013. She was employed by Home Depot as head cashier for several years. When she became a mommy for the first time, she had the opportunity to be a full-time mother and stay at home to raise her daughter. Two years later, she was blessed with twins. All three of her children were her world and she doted on each of them. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting, bow fishing, and pool time. She was known as “Nanie” by her nieces and nephews, and they all loved her. Jessica loved life and she always had a beautiful smile on her face.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kent Harris; and father-in-law, Rene De Jesus.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Johnny De Jesus of Warren; children, Haizlee, Kentzlee, and R. J. De Jesus of Warren; mother, Gina Harris of Bossier City, LA; brother and sister-in-law, J. J. and Amy Harris of Warren; nephew, Jace Harris of Warren; nieces, Lexi Bickham and husband Kaleb; and Areli Rosales; great nephew, Kent Bickham; grandmother, Jan Wilson of Corrigan; grandfather, Alfred Ascol and wife Carol of Mauriceville; mother-in-law, Seno De Jesus of Moscow; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Pepe and Marylu Rosales and Cesar De Jesus all of Moscow and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jace Harris, Cesar De Jesus, Bubba Hall, and Kenny Burke.
