Cindy was born on July 31, 1959 in Corvallis, Oregon to Herman Erickson and Winona (Handsaker) Cuanningham and passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Livingston.
Cindy was a Baptist by faith and a well-loved woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She married her soul mate, Gary Wagnone on October 14, 1978 in Corrigan at Damascus Baptist Church. Their relationship was like a fairy tale; where you seen one, the other wasn’t far behind. She and Gary worked on his 1953 Chevy and had it running like a top. Cindy was known as “Grandma” to the grandchildren and loved each one with all her heart. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, working in her flower garden, and playing slot mania online.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary Wagnone of Corrigan; mother, Winona Cuanningham of Oregon; daughters, Cheryl Hubbell and husband Robert of Iowa; and Tammy Mercer and husband George of Corrigan; brother, Herman Leroy Erickson of Oregon; sisters, Debby Young and husband Ray of Oregon; and Shelly Erickson of Oregon; grandchildren; Mindy Mercer, Ashley Mercer, Shawn Mercer, George Mercer III, Wesley Slocum and Christopher Wagnone; sisters-in-law, Carloyne Collins and husband Jim of Groveton; and Betty Davis and husband Cecil of Gilmer; brother-in-law, Larry Wagnone and wife Donna of Point Blank and numerous other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Erickson and sister, Crystal Erickson.
Pallbearers: George Mercer Jr., Jim Collins, Errol Collins, Wayne Davis, Roger Wagnone, and Bubba Wagnone
