Betty Lou (Sage) Taylor

Betty Sage Taylor, 80, of Corrigan, Tx. passed away Saturday July 1, 2023. She was born July 26, 1942 to Siddie and Fred Sage, Sr. 

Betty loved to hunt and fish and met Chet (whom she always described as the world's best husband) when he joined her dad's hunting lease. She and Chet enjoyed traveling and spending time with the kids and grandkids. After Chet's passing, Betty continued to travel with family and loved to cook, quilt, cross stitch, and watching Western's. 

Betty was a lifelong member of the Corrigan First Methodist Church. She served as a Sunday School Teacher and Methodist Youth Fellowship Leader. In more recent years, she served as Communion Steward for our church. 

She is survived by; 

Children: Jimmy Taylor and wife Melanie; David Taylor and wife Myrna; Ricky Taylor and fiancé LeeAnn Werler; Vicky Srubar and husband Danny; Teresa Partridge and husband Loren

Grandchildren: Jarrod Taylor and wife Kacie; Sage Gardner and husband Zach; David Taylor; Kristi Curry; Sonia Bailey and husband Kirtis; Ashley Lucia; Kylee Partridge and Jake Partridge.

Great-Grandchildren: Jace Taylor; Kinsley Taylor; Cayde Taylor; Josey Gardner; Tatum Gardner; Jayson Putney; Johnathon Curry; Braelyn Bailey; Trent Bailey; Sam Lucia; Wade Goff. 

Great Great- Grandchild: Aubrey Putney

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chet Taylor; parents, Fred Sage, Sr. and Siddie Sage; brothers, Fred Sage, Jr. and Billy Sage; sister, Barbara Sage Parks. 

Pallbearers: Steve Sage, Terry Sage, Joe David Parks, Jimmy Riley, Coty Handley, Seth Handley.
